Gyan Carnival

LALITPUR: Hosts Gyanodaya Bal Batika, Srikul School, Sahid Dharma Bhakta, and Budhanilkantha entered the boys’ football tournament semi-finals at the SML Isuzu 25th Gyan Carnival here on Monday.

Ayush Khapangi netted a brace and Suraj Budha scored one as Gyanodaya defeated Pushpasadan 3-1. Suraj Lokandri netted the consolation goal for Pushpasadan.

In other matches, Srikul defeated Little Angels’ 6-5 on penalties, Sahid Dharma Bhakta registered a 3-0 victory over Malpi and Budhanilkantha beat Innovative 1-0.

In semi-finals, Budhanilkantha will take on Gyanodaya, while Srikul face Shahid Dharma Bhakta.

In boys’ mini basketball tournament, Oasis beat hosts Gyanodaya 28-15 and Pushpasadan defeated 34-21 to make it to the final.
