Bhairahawa, December 12
Winter session of the Assembly of Province 5 has begun from today.
On the first day of the new session, bills related to the formation of provincial investigation commission and its functions, duties and powers were tabled at the Assembly. Prior to this, the speaker had informed the PA members of additional time sought by the committee tasked with recommending the name and permanent headquarters.
Sources at the PA Secretariat informed that the winter session will hold clause-wise discussion on various bills in the process of becoming law.
“We expect the session to be held in a better manner this time,” said Nepali Congress whip Astabhuja Pathak.
