BHARATPUR: One person died and another sustained injuries after the motorcycle they were travelling on crashed in Bharatpur Metropolitan City of Chitwan district, early Tuesday morning.
The deceased has been identified as pillion rider, Kumar Adhikari (34) of Khairahani Municipality-13 in the district and injured as a motorcycle rider, Somnath Sedhai (38) of Dhading.
According to District Police Office, Chitwan, the accident took place when the motorcycle (Ba 91 Pa 348) en route from Bharatpur to Tandi lost control and hit the divider of the central bus terminal chok, injuring two.
Adhikari breathed his last while undergoing treatment at Bharatpur Hospital whereas Sedhai is being treated at Chitwan Medical College.
