KATHMANDU: The first meeting of the State Affairs and Good Governance Committee, on Friday, decided to draw the attention of the Home Ministry to control the irregularities and crimes pestering and persisting in various sectors.
This decision was taken in the wake of the rising cases of violence against women such as rapes, murders and assaults of late.
The meeting chaired by the newly elected President, Sashi Shrestha, also decided to make the constitutional bodies responsible to use their constitutional rights to ensure good governance and rule of law.
