Motorcyclist dies in collision with truck in Chitwan

CHITWAN: A person died after the motorcycle he was riding on collided with a truck at Tandi Chowk in eastern Chitwan on Monday night.

The deceased has been identified as motorcyclist Suraj Chaudhary (35) of Khairahani Municipality-1, in Chitwan.

According to Chitwan District Police Office, a truck (Na 4 Kha 3122) heading to Narayangadh from Bhandara collided head-on with a motorcycle (Na 32 Pa 5061) killing its rider Chaudhary last night.

Critically injured Chaudhary died on the way to Bharatpur for the treatment, said police.

Meanwhile, police have impounded the truck and detained its driver.
