Dahal pledges to build stadium

Pokhara, November 6

Nepal Communist Party Co-chair Pushpa Kamal Dahal on Tuesday said he would take the initiative to build an international-level sports stadium ground in Pokhara.

Speaking at the medal distribution ceremony after the conclusion of  Pokhara Premier League, Dahal said that games strengthen national unity and send out the message of civilisation and national disciple. Dahal held that craze for football and cricket had increased in Pokhara. “Discipline would enable players to win international games,” he  said.

Nepali Congress leader and former health minister Gagan Thapa said Nepali players were capable of competing in the international games.
