DAMAULI: A person died in a road accident at Damauli of Tanahun district along Prithvi highway today.
The deceased has been identified as Ramesh Sharma (23) of Vyas Municipality-10.
According to Tanahun District Police Office, the accident took place when a micro bus (Ga 1 Ya 489) hit the scooter (Ga 13 Pa 9181) injuring Sharma at Vyas Municipality-4.
Critically injured scooter rider Sharma died while receiving treatment at Damauli Hospital, said Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP) Lilaraj Lamichhane.
Meanwhile, police have arrested the driver and impounded the vehicle for further investigation.
